Hi Cass,
Iain actually puzzled many by writing about restrictive elements,
because number of meanings can be derived from that. He might do a
favour by giving full context and background of this conversation.
If you read carefully, you will notice that Radha Burnier was
talking about many workers in general i.e. in India and other
countries. I think she was talking about Blavatsky-fundamentalists
who discredit work of students of Annie Besant, Leadbeater and other
leaders.
