To Dave: Re: Exploring the UNKNOWN: An Encyclopedic Dictionary with
hundreds of entries
Hi Dave
Yes I have devoted many, many hours to
compiling this!
I believe anyone who would read and carefully
study all of this material will have a
very good understanding of these subjects.
Some of the essays are really nicely done.
See for example the great overview on
Human Beings.
Or read the various articles under
Universe and Cosmology especially the 2
on brane theory. I have a book by a physicist
titled THE ELEGANT UNIVERSE with an accompanying
dvd. Many of the ideas presented
about strings, superstrings and branes are very
theosophical.
Reading this book motivated me to produce the
following web page. Allow it 15 or 20 seconds
to load the picture.

Or take this passage from ISIS UNVEILED:
"The one infinite and unknown Essence exists from all
eternity, and in regular and harmonious successions is
either passive or active.
In the poetical phraseology of Manu these conditions
are called the 'day' and the 'night' of Brahma. The
latter is either 'awake' or 'asleep.' ... Upon
inaugurating an active period, ... an expansion of
this Divine essence, from within outwardly, occurs in
obedience to eternal and immutable law, and the
phenomenal or visible universe is the ultimate result
of the long chain of cosmical forces thus
progressively set in motion. In like manner, when the
passive condition is resumed, a contraction of the
Divine essence takes place, and the previous work of
creation is gradually and progressively undone. The
visible universe becomes disintegrated, its material
dispersed; and 'darkness,' solitary and alone, broods
once more over the face of the 'deep.' ... An out
breathing of the 'unknown essence' produces the world;
and an inhalation causes it to disappear. This process
has been going on from all eternity, and our present
universe is but one of an infinite series which had no
beginning and will have no end."

264-265

One might see in the above various references to the
Big Bang and the Big Crunch
But the picture painted above by HPB in 1877 is
amazing considering what the Christians believed at
the time (and still do!) and what science knew at the
time!!
Take the Sanskirt word ANU.
What does Anu mean?
Anu, atom; also, one of the names of Brahma.
In the SD INDEX we find the following about
Anu (Skt)
elemental atom, jiva I 567-8
matter became, or atomic I 522
name of Brahma I 542
primordial, or atom I 148, 357
HPB writes:
Anu (Sk.). An "atom", a title of Brahmâ, who is said
to be an atom just as is the infinite universe.
In other words, Anu is the primordial atom thru which
Brahma (the expansive force) creates the known
universe. Correlate that with my first quote from
ISIS UNVEILED.
See my graphics involving the point (Anu??) in the
circle:

Concerning your Adamski question, I would say that
none of the 3 options apply to me. I would
have to create at least one more if not several more
alternative options.
