Really? Why?
I think Zion or Sion (lat.-gr.) is exactly in Hebrew what is also meant with 
Dhyana or Zen: A city on a hill, the chosen city of god and his people.
I can't see any difference in content between the terms, even in its 
materialized today explanation, nor did you expalin the phonetical identity. 
Is it an accident?
The schools of Dzyan are also on a hill as every esoteric school. Wisdom and 
meditation are the usual translation for Dzyan and that is also exactly what 
is the business of god/gods and his chosen people.
