Where is the photo you are talking about? I got curious.
I have one which I saved from a site years ago and the " tibetan" is a manwith large lips, mongol-like eyes, a little and thin moustache a la Humphrey Boggard, very short hair. ..

There is an artist in our country that claims to paint the masters portraits while using tibetan meditation techniques...well I once call him up in order to discover more things about him, all I know is that he uses this meditation and begins the sketches the portraits from the character´s eyes.
The portraits are so similar that it seems that he uses a pre-prepared formula for all of them. (In my opinion, of course ) they look like relatives from the same family...but the guy has a very light technique.
