My views are:

I agree entirely with you about this.

Whereas there is a big difference in adapting oneself socially to
time, people and circumstances - as Blavatsky as far as I know did very 
well -
AND - then do what Leadbeater did - creating fear among present and future 
children and their parents
within or outside of The Theosophical Society - when he re-entered the 
Theosophical Society in 1908.

I think that this fact is one of the most major mistakes to have happened 
within
the history of what is known as "The Theosophical Society".
