Dear All,

Where is it written that it is immoral to smoke tobacco leaf? Is it immoral to smoke the Tea leaf?

The problem with cigarettes is not the tobacco, but the chemicals that are put in the cigarette. The Red Indians used tobacco as a healing agent, many other cultures use other products of nature to arrive at a higher state of consciousness. The Masters worn against the latter as it can project you to a place where you might not be able to return from in the same manner, and where you cannot be protected.

The issue is more an emotional attachment that needs to be overcome, but not necessarily given up.

Are we not meant to enjoy our life here on earth, are all earthly pleasures, out of bounds for the spiritual self? Is that going to take us on the Left Hand path, nonsense. If, taken to its logical conclusion, we will be a race not unlike the Borg (Deep Space 9) automatons that have no sense of delight or pleasure in being human. Life wasnt meant to be easy, but I am sure it wasnt meant to be stoic either.
