Blavatsky's fame

But consider the following.

In 1891 when Madame Blavatsky died, she was a
very famous woman. I have collected hundreds
of obituaries of her as found in the newspapers
of the day. I have always been amazed at how
extensive was the coverage of her death throughout
the world.
