My notes on The Sun are
The Sun is a vast globe of astral-etheric substance, extending far beyond the orbit of the outermost planet. It (the light) fills every point of our solar system for it is the physical residue, so to say, of Aether. Aether having to serve other cosmic and terrestrial purposes besides being the great 'agent' for transmitting light. S.D.V1.571 772/774 footnotes.

The real substance of the (concealed) Sun is a nucleus of Mother-Substance (Buddhi). It is the heart and matrix of all the living and existing forces in our solar universe. It is the kernal from which proceed to spread - on their cyclic journeys - all the powers that set in action the atoms in their functional duties, and the focus within which they again meet in their Seventh Essence every eleventh year. It is already differentiated "matter" and as such it can be condensed or gathered together into a vortex or globe. It is primordial root substance and corresponds to Buddhi.
Therefore the real substance of the Sun is a space-filling substance. (Buddhi) It cannot be smaller than the Sun Globe that we see. It is not a small thing within the visible sun, it is the whole system and we live in it as it lives n us. It cannot be condensed into a nucleus within a material shell. "Motion is eternal per se, and in the manifested Kosmos, it is the Alpha and Omega of that which is called electricity, galvinism,magnetisem, sensation - moral and physical - thought and even life of this plans (Blav.Lodge II,P23.

Cass: my thoughts. We are a contraction of reality, what we think is reality, is its outermost appearance. We go from eternal infinite to finite, yet we think the finite goes to the infinite.

Considered cosmically in relation to the Cosmic Central Sun, we may place our Sun Globe on the Astral, but so far as its own system is concerned it is Mother Substance or Buddhi.

Cass: Does this mean we are looking at astral matter when we look at the Sun?)

The Sun is an atom and so is each of the larger sunglobes. Each one propels or energizes or propels its molecules, i.e. the globe on the lower or grosser plane, into activity.

In the realm of Esoteric Science, the Unit (atom) divides ad infinitum, instead of losings its unity, approaches with every division the planes of the only Eternal Reality. SD1.694.

Leon: Our physical atom, apparently bounces back, does this mean that there is a ring pass not in the physical plane or do some atoms become invisible by going through the physical to the astral, and if so, why do only some atoms do this and some dont.? Is it because, "When the physical atom or the physical organism responds to the astral vibration or currents, the vibrations of the solar ether, we have physical plane phenomena. As indeed modern science itself not teaches; every physical phenomena being dependant on the activity of the ether. When the atom or organism responds to the pranic vibrations we have "life"When the atom or organism responds to the manasic vibrations in additions to the others, we have the phenomenon of "Mind".

In answer to one of your questions Dallas, my notes say
"The Sun is not a cooling body, nor is its energy as science supposes radiated away into space - but is conserved within its own system, circulating to the extreme limits and returning periodically to the centre." This is maybe the 11 year cycle mentioned above?

Light and Heat which we receive from the Sun and Stars, is not light and heat until it is converted or transformed into these forms of energy within the spheres of matter (atmosphere) of our earth globe. Just as these latter forms of energy are converted into something else - chemical action - when they enter the denser matter - gas, liquid or solid in plants and other organisms.

The atom E1 is a Sun in miniature, in its own universe of the inconceivable minute. Each of the seven whorls is connected with one of the Planetary Logoi, so that each Planetary Logos has a direct influence playing on the very matter of which all things are constructed. Cass: Is this the 7 divisions in nature?

Just a guess - but has been making me think for quite a while about this
possibility. 

Its like asking where GOD is. Omnipresence is EVERYWHERE. 

So "God's: "center " -- is in us, as well as everywhere else - in every
human, every atom, every Sun every world. 

But IT is not physical or psychical, it is SPIRITUAL.

As Krishna might say: "Its manifestations are infinite." 

Mentally I find it difficult to think of THAT as a "Maya." 

Since movement and change is everywhere, LAW and the EVOLUTION of
intelligence and responsiveness have to be well organized and thus we might
say: they are requisites in all beings of more limited "form." [see S D
I pp. 14 - 19 ]

Or is this just nonsense?
