Hallo Desmontes and all,

Here is something on it:
http://www.home.duq.edu/~bonin/thomasbibliography.html

St. Thomae Aquinatis Summae Theologiae in english:
http://www.stjamescatholic.org/summa/index.html

Here is the passage mentioned by Blavatsky:
"Reply to Objection 2: All men alike, both guilty and innocent, die the death of nature: which death of nature is inflicted by the power of God on account of original sin, according to 1 Kgs. 2:6: "The Lord killeth and maketh alive." Consequently, by the command of God, death can be inflicted on any man, guilty or innocent, without any injustice whatever. In like manner adultery is intercourse with another's wife; who is allotted to him by the law emanating from God. Consequently intercourse with any woman, by the command of God, is neither adultery nor fornication. The same applies to theft, which is the taking of another's property. For whatever is taken by the command of God, to Whom all things belong, is not taken against the will of its owner, whereas it is in this that theft consists. Nor is it only in human things, that whatever is commanded by God is right; but also in natural things, whatever is done by God, is, in some way, natural, as stated in the FP, Question [105], Article [6], ad 1."

- - - The influence of the Jesuits is not gone - - -
One of the popes in the race would be a Jesuit Pope if elected:
"JORGE MARIO BERGOGLIO, 68, Archbishop of Buenos Aires"

I do like quoting Ratzinger because of his position.

Ratzinger as the head of the present day Inquisition
http://www.ianpaisley.org/article.asp?ArtKey=howworks
Ratzinger seems to be an anti-democrat
http://www.ctaww.org/articles/williams_vicepopewieldswideinfluence.htm
His views on cloning:
"Man is capable of producing another man in the laboratory who therefore is no longer a gift from God or of nature. ... Just as he can be fabricated, he can be destroyed," Ratzinger said."

" In the two years Ratzinger spent at the diocesan seminary of Freising, he studied literature, music, modern philosophy, and he felt drawn towards the new existentialist and modernist theologies. He did not like St. Thomas Aquinas."

I recalled seeing some negative remarks in Isis Unveiled made in
passing with regard to the Jesuits. I was curious why HPB held such a
disparaging veiw so I did some digging and found this section very
disturbing:

Isis Unveiled, Vol. II, Chap. 8
http://www.theosociety.org/pasadena/isis/iu2-08a.htm

Among other things there remarks were shocking:

"Let, then, all pious Christians listen and acquaint themselves with
this alleged "rule of life" and precepts of their God, as exemplified
by the Jesuits. Peter Alagona (St. Thomae Aquinatis Summae Theologiae
Compendium) says: "By the command of God it is lawful to kill an
innocent person, to steal, or commit . . . (Ex mandato Dei licet
occidere innocentem, furari, fornicari); because he is the Lord of
life and death, and all things, and it is due to him thus to fulfil
his command" (Ex prima secundae, Quaest., 94).

"A man of a religious order, who for a short time lays aside his
habit for a sinful purpose, is free from heinous sin, and does not
incur the penalty of excommunication" (Lib. iii., sec. 2., Probl. 44,
D. 212).***"

Does anyone known enough about the Society of Jesus to attest to the
authenticity of her sources. The only works I am familiar with are
the Constitution and Spiritual Exercises of Ignatius.

Sincerely Yours,
Desmontes
