If this is true then why hasn't Marty Feldman of played the part of Pope 
Joan with Gene Wilder acting the part of the Official Vatican Testicle Tickler? 
BTW, I think Kathy Bates would be intertaining as a re-incarnated Blavatsky, 
but I think Steve Martin should be Leadbeater. I can see it now-- Blavatsky 
standing in intense rage, her eyes bulging, waves of energy blasting off of her 
as she glowers and screams "you will pay for every paragraph you changed, you 
will pay for every sentence you changed, you will pay for every word you 
changed!!! You twit! You Worm! Beg for your soul! (the camera does a slow circling 
pan and ends with an over the shoulder shot of Steve Martin (as Leadbeater) 
with a long grey beard down to his knees, he is tied hands and feet to a bed, 
his feet are bare Balavtsky tickles his foot with a feather with each 
exhortation and he squeals in pained laughter and begs her to relent" (to be continued
