Dear Barbara,

You bring up a good point. It is useful too to remember that two
diametrically opposed points of view can both reflect truth. It 's
all a matter of perspective, and respect, treating others as we would
like to be treated. When conversing with those who may be opposed to
theosophical principles (usually through ignorance) it is helpful to
find the things we have in common. It isn't necessary to stress what
appears to be different in two belief systems. Theosophy covers all
and emphasizing the shared basis is sometimes helpful.
