Hallo all,

Well...Christina - I thought the sign
:-) was a happy alien with two antennas.
My mistakes I guess.

I remember reading that book by Fromm.
There are a some good points in it.
But it It is lacking in knowledge about spiritual energies
and how to combine wisdom and compassion.
The science of developing the aura is so often misunderstood,
because the understanding of the words "wisdom" and "compassion"
is from time to time exchanged for the words "intellectual thinking" and "ecstatic emotions".
I do hope my english is coming across.

The beginner Seekers are often more interested in delveloping clairvoyance and other kinds
of extra sensory perception. They do not understand the importance of focussing on
Atma/Brahma - and developing compassion and wisdom (for instance "higher thinking activity").
It would be better if they are taught - that learning about more than one ideology - more than one thought-system
is important - so to devleop higher thinking and a non-crystallising thought-patterns
of a dead-letter nature. Cultural bigotry is sadly still very prevalent even in theosophical circles.
With other words - theosophical terminology is just one single kind of terminology used by
the travllers on the Path.

I understand, that you do not recommend, that all theosophists
hide themselves in a theosophical monastery.
I am happy about that.

However I suspect, that others find that idea to be just the
right thing to do. And to some of us it is a good idea, not doubt there.
Let us just remember, that the ego often makes friction about this issue.

Well I think that depends upon who you are, where you are, what
culture you
are living in - and also the spiritual needs for new incarnations.
But I agree. Not too much - not too little.
If not at all - you will sometimes get in trouble.
Chr:
Yes in endocrinological way,one can reaches the euphoric state and
after that fall down in depression.
If he or she don't know how to handle it( the hormons).

Getting close to another human being can be very healthy if it is a
spiritual need.

Chr:
Why you use here the devilish sign of yahoo messenger?

Some Seekers enjoy "Sex over the email" more than "Sex over the
phone".
And we call them weird. Well, maybe.

Chr:here you use it right! I think
So what has love to do with Sexual intercourse?
Chr: I think you know that there are several levels of LOVE see:
Love, an Art, The Art of Erich Fromm. That is a little book, I think
it is also printed in German.
We must not mix all kinds of love to One.
We live from down under to the spiritual realms and not from Up side
down in this body.
We cannot jump on the stairway to heaven,Or do we ?
