----There is a saying that goes something like this :
"It is not what goes into the mouth that is so important,
but what comes out of it."
Perhaps reflecting upon the wisdom that is contained
within that saying may provide new insight and an answer
to your question.
All beings have "rights", not just those who sit in
judgement of others. Spirituality exists everywhere
and all may speak of it, it is not restricted to those
that lay judgement upon their brothers. The "lower
ego" may justify but it is only a balloon with intoxicating 
air. Compassion, understanding, and other aspects 
of brotherhood exercise the mode of the "higher ego".---
