Perception & Interpretations from the Masters

Not sure if this has been brought up before, but here goes.
I know on many occasions I've misconstrued something that was said by
a Master, which was later repeated/corrected by them in some form or
another. Often times concepts are given to you in themes based on
information you already know, because if you know much about the mind,
when things aren't crystal-clear to you, your mind fills in the blanks
as it feels necessary (usually based on how it wants to perceive
things). This can be proven in the following manner: Raed tihs
snetnace, it's petrty esay eevn tohugh msot of teh wrods are
msispeleld. Your mind automatically fixes the little errors it
perceives almost instantaneously, without your knowlege sometimes. The
same can be true when you perceive messages from a Master. However, if
your mind's interpretations are wrong, you will get the wrong message
(and such is the way if you accidentally interpreted "though" as
"tough", or similar in my above example).
Usually messages, even from someone who has a reliable contact with a
master, can be tainted by their own perception. I believe this would
account for missing or conflicting information that had been recorded.
