I found this most interesting.
The article on astral projection caught my attention. As a
practitioner of qigong, I know of Astral projection in the aspect of
practical occultism.
Strangely enough, I was also diagnosed by a psychologist as having
dissociative disorder, (particularly, derealization, depersonalization
disorders) which causes episodes, sometimes cronically, causing severe
changes in perception--making the physical world seem unreal, or
altering some/all of your senses. It also makes you feel like you're
having an out of body experience. There's other symptoms too, such as
other sensory or perceptual disturbances.
Supposedly it's a self-defense mechanism (a detachment from reality,
so to speak, if there's no escape from impending danger). But maybe
there is something more to this?
In addition, I also have polyneuronal ectopy-PNE for short-which makes
the neurons in my brain hyper-sensitive to stimulation, and heightens
my senses well beyond their normal ranges. This explains to me one of
the reasons why I can't "shut off" my auric vision, which to be honest
is beginning to annoy the hell out of me.
