It was sort of a joke.

I was also sort of thinking about asking the question to my inner Self - the 
Atma.
And the answer came thundering back:
'Be more patient, and you will learn. I know this to be the truth,' said the 
inner Atma to me.
And my conscience had to agree upon that.

Were my inner Atma is - there is no doubt about what is a Shade and
what is a genuine contact.

Be patient, do good and you will learn.
A million years seems far away, but to the high Master it is but a second.

guardian-consiousness acts.

This is very easy to understand in the Voice of Silence:

For reference, the explanation HPB says about it is the following:

" The astral region, the Psychic World of supersensuous perceptions and of
