Re: Theos-World Re: The Heirarchy of Evil- Soulless Entities?

Dear John
Thanks for your response. Although HPB says the strata of this consciousness is way beyond men, does that mean that we cannot be "impressed" by evil? Because clearly she says that the dugpas are working their evil manifestations on the world. I want to know, how they do this.

I was reading that all psychopaths begin their journey of horror by fantasising and then at some point when the fantasy is no longer fulfilling they make it reality by performing the act in the real world on real people.

Where does this fantasy come from? Dugpas?

Science is trying to prove that it is somehow connected to the physiological/biological brain.
I can understand that Karma would provide the psysiological and biological environment to produce such a monster. But cannot see how a brain chip would change the psychological make up of a monster.

I understand that mass murderers (killings at schools) are performed in a rage of revenge and notoriety. Ego driven delusions. Emotionally driven. Many of them come from decent backgrounds and are not usually those kids who are regarded as the ones most likely to. They appear to be born angry and inflict their rage on the world. Perhaps the first steps on the left side?

Serial murderers begin their terror on animals first and then progress to humans. They are not insane but are rational and act through cold calculating planning of the event. These seem to be intellectually driven, and do not act on impulse. They have no remorse or conscience, and live only to kill again. I am also speculating that many of them are in their last incarnation as soulless entities.

Are their victims karmically connected in some horrible way?

I realise the subject is not pretty, but it leaves a theosophical gap in my understanding of what evil is, where it originates, how it perpetuates, and how we as a society can feel safe when there is this deep psychological fear of the dark side in all of us. Theosophy says that good and evil are co-existent in the universe and in us, and that evil is just the negation of good, but it irks me when I read that there are "secrets that are best left alone,". Wouldnt a theoretical knowledge of how the dark side operates lessen its power over us?

Is there anything recorded that shows the evolution of the dark side in our nature to the point where we become soulless. I am sure we don't sell our soul to the devil in one monumental event in one lifetime.

Other than faust?

Cass

Vladimir and Cass,
Well, Blavatsky did write an article about the White and the Dark that are
in perpetual struggle throughout the manvantaric manisfestation. I don't
recal the name of the article right now, perhaps Daniel or another archivist might
locate it. In one of the Mahatma Letters it is stated that they themsleves
are restrained in their intervention and assistance to us as each time they do
so it changes the balance of energy between the White and The Dark and the Dark
then has right to equally balance the energy change with it's own
compensation and action. I have the URL but it is on my old computer and not here on the
XP. the strata ofthis contest is way beyond the consciousness of man.
