Are you sure? I've met a number of occultists who spoke to me of their
personal experiences. Patanjali was an occultist, and I'm sure he couldn't have
taught his rajah yoga aphorisms if he didn't experience all that for himself.
The same could be said for everything HPB taught. She even told us how she
performed her psychic phenomena. If that's not personal experience, I don't know
what is.
