I have found it. It was in 1996 in theos-l. I participated then in 
that
list but later had to unsubscribe because I hadn't permanent
Internet access.

Yes, and I see nothing bad in it. We could read bad things about
Bonpo, but I think that it's prabably a later distortion of the
tradition, as sometimes happens with Buddhism too.

It is an excellent book. We also have it in Russian, and I
recommend to every theosophist as a good source about Bon
tradition.
