Theosophy and Dzogchen

Dear John,

Thank you for the link. It's not easy to find works by Namkhai Norbu
Rinpoche online. We have many of them in Russian, but as a rule they
undergone double translation from Italian to English or French and
then to Russian. But even after that they remain very good and useful.
I think there are many parralels between HPB and Dzogchen teachings,
and according to some sources she studied Dzogchen in Tibet.

Magazine Ergates of June 1996 mentions that Kalzan rinpoche who
came from Tibet was searching for reincarnation of HPB and that he
had some evidences of her stay in Tibet. I don't know continuation of
the story, and unfortunately I have lost the English text of the
article, though I have the translation still. I have downloaded it
somewhere, so we may try to search. But the most incredible feature of
the story is that Chinese government permitted the lama to travel to
USA. If they wrote that he came by teleportation, it would be more
plausible and I would more readily believe it. Though he could
hypnotize them.

Another line of researches is a similarity of theosophical teachings
with those of Jonangpa school, summarized by David Reigle in
"Theosophy in Tibet: the teachings of the Jonangpa school".
