Re: Theos-World Hitlers aura

Yes, I've seen some of this in The Theosophist, no later than 1934, if I
correctly recall. There is one where Hitler is praised as being a
spiritual person because he was a vegetarian and loved children. There
were protests from members at the time, and even letters from the German
section, warning Arundale to back off. But, since Arundale's praise of
Hitler was published in the Editorials, the protests were dismissed by
saying that Arundale was only expressing his opinion, and not policy.
Later, when Hitler invaded England, Arundale did express regret for his
earlier support of Hitler. I missed the one by Hodson about Hitler's
aura. Is that in the Theosophist too?

I mean before the II great war started. I found in the Internet sometime ago an article and I posted the link here in theos-talk I believe in the discussions about Mussolini and Besant. Arundale in some of his articles was praising Hitler thinking that he would be the greatest leader German ever had. After Arundale writes against Hitler and against the war of course. I would have to search in theos arquives to find the link for the article in which is mentioned the description of Hodson but without quotes. I believe it might be published in one of The Theosophists after 1932.

Geoffrey Hodson description of the great beautiful
aura of Hitler
(before the war)is somewhere in one of The
Theosophist.
(I am without time to search for it, but please if
anyone have this
quote I would like to get it.)
That would be very interesting to me.
Could you limit the time period in which Hodson's
aura description may have appeared?
I have some bulks of The Theosophists somewhere
and it would save much time if I would know
whether I should begin with the 1920's or 30's.
What is meant by "before the war"? Does it mean
that Hitler's aura has changed?
And what about the auras of Churchill, Roosevelt
and Stalin?
Did Hodson made also a descitpion of it?
And has had Hodson anything to do with Churchill's
"Occult bureau"?
BTW, all what Sylvia Cranston writes in her HPB
bio is FICTION (or probably politically correct
propaganda for some reason), nothing is based on
facts.
But who is interested in facts in these times of
enlightenment? :-))
