I think the only person who knows exactly what happened to Krishnamurti is
Krishnamurti himself. All of us can but speculate and no one can be sure of
our speculations. My 0.02.

My understanding of being overshadowed comes from what I read about
Jesus. In Jesus' last three years of teaching, he would somehow, step
aside and allow a Buddha to work through his body. I was also reading
that this happened, initially, with Krishnamurti, and when he broke away
from the Masters that overshadowing/protection was taken away. Some say
that is why Krishnamurti's method of teaching became erratic and somewhat
cold. But I know there are wiser heads than mine on this subject and I am
sure they will have better explanations than this.
