Bart,
The thread about Adyar not performing a "Ideal Communication Cycle" with
the world of Theosophists-at -large has run a bit here with a lot of comments
and valued responses of personal experience by several dedicated persons,
yourself included. One thing that was mentioned by mkr I beleive is the advent of
the physical manisfestation of an enhanced holistic communication world-wide
bypassing previous boundary and barriers - The Internet. Today it is a simple,
relatively easy thing for Adyar to compile a E-mail Distribution List of all
Lodge Secretarys, Council Officers, and Executives and to, on a regular Monthly
or Quarterly basis E-mail the Financial Statement, Minutes of the Adyar
Meetings, and pertinent updates of importance to the Distribution List by E-mail at
virtually no cost and in practically no time in transit to receipt points.
Communication is one of the most crucial and fundamental activities between any
"Point A to Point B..." If clarity and precision of content is maintained and
absence of error is a feature of the process it would be certain to releive
some of the unsatisfactory basis that have been broached here.
The commentarys of many long time devoted Theosophists who cry out aloud
for improvement following the ideal of Brotherhood. After all can there be real
Brotherhood without communication close to the ideal of Communication?
