Dear Jerry:

Thank you for your comments. I didn't know the background to the 1994
conference in Ojai. The fact that people with many divergent views of
the Theosophical Movement came together and listened to each other
seemed in itself remarkable to me. But I admit my ignorance of the
political atmosphere behind it.

As the Ecclesiastes say, "to every thing there is a season, and a time
to every purpose under the heaven." Today, as I bow out from this list
which has been taken over by self-appointed judges of C. W.
Leadbeater, I would not want any other subject-line for my last post
than the one above.

There is no dialogue without a real sense of listening, and I would
like to sincerely thank you, Jerry, and others on this list, for
listening to what I had to say.
