He had normal sexual orientation an even wanted to marry, before
he joined TS at least. If he was "sex perverted" it's probably
someone in TS has distracted him. ;)
Sinnett objected to accept the clergeman at first, but it was
obviously against TS principles, and later they became friends.

His material is no less doubtful than that of Leadbeater.
So far he repeats things already said by HPB, it's good, but
when he tries to make his own conclusions, his writnigs get
more doubtful. He thought that because Chinese are 4th race
people they should die out. It's logical, and it seemed in
XIX century that it gotta be so, but now we see quite the
reverse.

"...It is not certain that the inhabitants of the globe have
increased, and, further, vast numbers of people are annually
destroyed of whom we know nothing. In China year after year many
thousands have been carried off by flood."

"It has been sometimes thought by ethnologists that the more
civilized races kill off the other, but the fact is that in
consequence of the great difference between the Egos inhabiting
the old race body and the energy of that body itself, the females
begin to be sterile, and thus slowly but surely the number of
deaths exceeds the births. China itself is in process of decay,
she being now in the almost stationary stage just before the rush
downward." (Ocean of theosophy).

Then you should value his opinion. He wrote a pamphlet in defence
of Leadbeater.

"For me C. W. Leadbeater was indeed a self-illumined man
and I feel privileged to participate in this defence, made on his
behalf, concerning the charges levelled against him"

"Although not myself privileged to have been a pupil of C. W.
Leadbeater, I met him personally on many occasions and throughout
the fifty-six years of my membership of the Theosophical Society
I have benefited very greatly from his writings."

"Although a very great deal of what C. W. Leadbeater said and
described is beyond my own limited experience, I am able to offer
the testimony that I have independently become assured of the truth
of certain of his teachings."

(This text contains parts written by several authors but I've quoted
G. Hodson only)

And Hodson's teaching is quite in line with that of Leadbeater.
I understand those who deny them both, it is logical at least.

> An yet, Mrs. Radha hates him...

I don't know much about her, but I think that during the term
of previous president Coats TS worked more successfully.
But TPH still prints and sales books by Hodson, I have got
several of them which were printed in 1980's & 1990's. I've just
looked into Quest Books catalogue of 2002 and found there 22
titles by Hodson and only 2 by Krishnamurti!

I don't like his teaching, but it is nothing wrong to have one's
own opinion. The more opinions in TS, the better.

I think that we shouldn't blame people like Leadbeater or
Krishnamurti, they simply had their own opinion, and if they
tried to persuade others it's quite natural.

But those people who have power (i.e. officials) and impose
any teaching to othes, be it "pure theosophy", "neo-theosophy",
or "krishnamurtism", are really responsible for inefficiency of
theosophical movement and splits in it, and as far it concerns
them I agree with you.

> If HPB was to be reborn, I am sure she would never join the TS

Not because she wouldn't apply but rather because she will be
not accepted :)

> The time for the TS was the 19 century...

HPB predicted that it will reborn.
