Hi Leon
But how is thought related to the ABC Theory?

Hi Cass,

Your guess is as good as mine. But, I would think that karma is related to
the being that creates it. If so, then it should hang on to the consciousness
center and its link to the Akasha or the spinergy surrounding the zero (Laya)
point of that being... And, therefore, remain still active from one
incarnation to another in this Manvantara. Theosophy speaks of that residue or memory
of our karma as the "Skandas" that are the basis or cause of our rebirth in a
new body (so as to fulfill that) karma.

Accordingly, when all such individual karma is resolved or transcended, and
no more new karma created, there should be no further rebirths in this
Manvantara -- unless, being a Bodhisattva, we so choose. At least, that's what we are
taught.

I, for one, think the actual working of karma is a lot more complex than
that. But, since only a Master would understand all its intricacies of energy
transfer from one field of consciousness to another -- all we can do here, is
talk about it in relatively simple terms. Theosophy's way of doing that is to
leave it to the "Lords of Karma" to see to its fulfillment -- (which I
interpret, not so anthropomorphically, as the immutable "LAWS" of karma).

Therefore, karma needs no hierarchy of conscious manipulators for its
fulfillment or transcendence -- other than our own inherent connection to the
universal will directed by our choices of action based on our individually self
devised and self determined study and effort. If we want to follow the right hand
path -- it all comes down to using that will power solely toward unselfish
purposes and as necessity requires, as well as compassionately with respect to
others.
