Hi John,
Yes I agree, I think this was a technique that discouraged any
challenge to his authority and what CWL did was to trivialise and
distort the teachings of these traditions including the Trans
Himalayan tradition of HPB Adept teachers.
CWL and Annie Besant were seen as the mouthpiece of these Beings and
so what we got was not the teachings of Maitreya but the imaginings of
CWL and Annie Besant, as much as many people may not like to hear it.
