Hi
Very good question.
Did both HPB and CWL have the same masters?
Another point that one one would consider is why didn´t "his" masters advise him a change of procedures about his alleged sexual incidents?
The question could also drive to another conclusion: Mr. Charles never get in close contact with the alleged masters as he asseverated, but perhaps hewas a victim of his self-dellusion, confusing the Masters with other entities ( such as Swedenborg did???:-) or that even unscrupulously used the known HPB´s masters to give him enough reputation.
Jina by his words always seemed honest and sincere to me and the quote below about the training with Djual showed that he really was subjected to the DK´s authority.
Something strange to my rudimentary awareness is the books atributed to DK´s by the pen of Alice Bailey that also have discrepancies to the original HPB´s papers.
At times I think that the more diverseness we read the more we get confused, so at last, how many realities do we have here?
Sometimes I think the blind search towards HBP´s works with exclusivity is better and healthier than comparative reading...but at the same time we cannot get narrow-minded...and should read " parallel, confrontative" sources...It´s a dilemma...
That is why I so much emphasize the need of meditation for us scholars because the truths are inside of us.
But the more we feed our mind with data the harder it becomes to silence it!
It´s common ground in the western schools that intellect is not wisdom...
Regards and excuses for the rusty english.

Subject: Theos-World Checked by the Master
"Therefore I took the typewritten copy which I had made to the Master
Kuthumi and asked Him to be so kind as to read it over. He read it,
altered a word or two here and there, added some connecting and
explanatory notes and a few other sentences which I remembered having
heard Him speak to Mr. Krishnamurti. Then He said: "Yes, that seems
correct; that will do" ; but He added : "let us show it to the Lord
Maitreya." And so we went together,"
Masters & the Path p.175
Notice how the Master read over & "CORRECTED" this manuscript and then
showed it to the "Lord Maitreya" as well.
Why would the Mahatma's not have pointed out to Leadbeater(whom he
claims to be in such close personal contact with) that the teachings
he was puting in his textbooks and manuals as being the teachings of
the Adept Brotherhood actually didn't match with their own?
