Jinarajadasa was one of CWL's closest students and was part of the most
inner groups in the TS. He was present during CWL's and AB's clairvoyant
investigations and took notes. He became International President after
Arundale, and also the Outer Head of the ES. He was very interested in
Theosophical history, and thanks to him, many important documents were
published which may have otherwise never been known. For me,
Jinarajadasa's historical writings are of greatest value because they
give us so much insight into the history of the TS. His Letters from
the Masters of Wisdom, published in two volumes, has Mahatma letters in
the Adyar archives which are not in the Mahatma Letters to A.P. Sinnett.
Jinarajadasa's formal Theosophical teachings are closely aligned to
CWL's. His book First Principles of Theosophy is so filled with
scientific errors of fact, that the British Section stopped re-printing
it many years ago.
