Dear K and Friends:

I write / answer / question for the very same reason -- to try and let
readers know of the solid side of THEOSOPHY.

If they also read and think a little they may decide on checking the
difference and gain an insight into the reasoning and logic.

The memory is an interesting area as thoughts recur -- and, who knows,
perhaps there is mater for Devachanic meditation in such.

But the idea that we are immortal and divine SELVES is the only thing that
will overcome the false and partial idea of a "personal God," and direct the
mind to the UNIVERSAL DEITY -- the UNIVERSE that is ageless and has no
boundaries and yet is compassionate in its marvelous capacity to concern
itself with the welfare of the least of its creatures as well as the
grandest and wisest.
Best wishes,

Dallas

Just a comment on your post to Anand

Anand as you know, is a reader of the writings of the neo-theosophers such
as CWL and A. Besant.

Like him, there are thousands.

For some it is terribly harder to read a Secret Doctrine than those little
manuals from those authors, the little books are condensed and frequently
represent partial, and when not garbled, scattered views from the original
theosophy.

He seldom gives good and well based inputs and seem that he spread his words
with the wind and just seem not to care about the replies.

I think that if you want really, from the deep of your heart, study and let
theosophy transform you interiorly, you must do 2 things: Study with
dedication the original and most secure fountains you find and silence your
mind in meditation.

The other techniques and works which come from many new theosophers of that
period must be analyzed with critical and parsimonious sense for they show
many half truths, and, as Osho said once, " A half-truth is worse than a
lie".
