To Pedro: "Leadbeater, by his own admission"

Pedro,
Thanks for your reply to my question.
I asked you:
"Do you believe that young boys
slept in the same bed with Leadbeater?"
And you replied:
"He [Leadbeater] said so before the
Advisory Board meeting in London, presided by
Col. Olcott, in May 1906...."
In light of the above, is it so hard to
believe in Mrs. Martyn's testimony quoted
by Tillett?
Furthermore, consider Leadbeater's own
admission as given by you (above) with what Dr.
Tillett previously wrote:
-------------------------------------------------
Leadbeater, by his own admission:
(i) claimed to be able to know clairvoyantly when boys where
experiencing sexual desire and initiated discussions about
masturbation with them;
(ii) "taught" (his word) masturbation to boys [whatever "taught" might
mean];
(iii) included "indicative action" in his "teaching" of masturbation;
(iv) may have used "physical touch" in his "teaching" of masturbation;
(v) did such things to pre-pubescent boys.
This is a long way - morally and legally - from providing counselling
to boys who sought his advice. Any doctor (or psychologist or
clergyman or counsellor) who did what Leadbeater admitted doing would
be de-registered and sent to jail.
----------------------------------------------------
So one might wonder if Leadbeater was teaching them masturbation
while they were in the bed....!!!
And why was he teaching masturbation to pre-pubescent boys in the
first place?
And please consider all of the above in light of the points I quoted
from Jerry H-E in two recent postings.
What reasonable person would do what Leadbeater admits to and not
expect a firestore of criticism? And one might conclude that
Leadbeater continued this type of behavior and teaching with total
disregard as to the effects it might have on the Theosophical Society
and Theosophy.
More could be said.
Daniel
