On a lighter note, and if we want to hold on to our money, we never question our Master Plumber do we!!!
The question is whether when you capitalize Master do
you mean a perfect man? I have not met a perfect man. I am open to the
possiblity that one exists and equally open to the possibility that one does
not.
A: When I refer to a Master, I imagine something far beyond a perfect man.Perhaps a perfect man in the sense that he has become master of himself.I hold the theory, until proved otherwise by myself to myself, that our body consciousness the mental, the astral and physical bodies of man may have an elemental life and consciousness quite distinct from the Personality who uses them, and during the personal life of man, the elemental life of each body is temporarily individualised to form the physical, emotional andmental elemental.
The physical elemental when fearing for its life, wants to run away, it's instinctual in that it has all kinds of ancestral memories and tendencies towhich it will try to revert if not controlled by the Will of its owner.
The astral/desire elemental enjoys having a great time, variety, novelty and excitement rouse it into action.
The mental elemental doesnt like the mind to be held to one thought and likes to swing from thought to thought like a monkey between trees.
The owner of these elementals is our Ego pronounced egg-o.
The Eggo and the Ego are in continual warfare for mastery. The struggle between the higher and the lower aspects of man.
Finally, I am getting to the point, if I was to define a man perfect, then he would be that man who has mastered his physical element and stays dutiful even when in danger. He is not affected by emotion or desire by control of his astral. He is not affected by others thoughts, in fact, he should only think about what he chooses to think about by mastery over his mental body. This would be a perfect man for me. A self mastered man.
**I understand you to be saying that you also do not believe in perfected
beings in the sense that you have factual evidence of their existence?
That's right, just believe in the "ideal" of a perfected man.

**Cass, I really like this definition of intelligence. My grandfather was
the most intelligent person I've known for this very reason. Without formal
education, he couldn't read or write, but he could nurture the goodness in
everything and everyone with simple words and considerate nods of his
grey-white head.
A: Yes, behind the nod of a fool is a thousand words, behind the nod of an intelligent man is wisdom.
Best wishes to you to
Cass
