I think I got it: Those who understand
something, think so, and those who
think that they don't understand
something, think so. Both are examples
of karma/maya: thinking by itself isn't
going to get anybody beyond essentially
dualistic notions, thoughts. I think
that's why there's an emphasis on things
like meditation and "just being" in the
Esoteric/Wisdom Tradition, so that one
might transcend thinking in order to
experience (as opposed to "think about")
something of a reality that transcends
one's habitual worldview.
