Dear Krishtar
Now we are in the age of Aquarius, it is a time of CHANGE, and of self examination. Jesus came in the age of Pisces to teach men to love each other, now we are at a new stage of evolution, to examine all our inherited cultural and religious beliefs and to open our minds to other possibilities.

Unfortunately I haven't read the Da Vinci code but will go on line to see what the author has to say. He is probably repeating what HPB and other Theosophists have been saying for 100 years, but before I comment I must read what he is saying.

This new age will not only shake away the cobwebs from Christendom, but also Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism and all past great religions. For 2000 years we have learnt only the exoteric side of these religions, now it is time to explore the esoteric side. The noble truth at the core of each great religion. Our mentality has evolved to the point that we can no longer accept certain"truths" based on "faith". Logic has to be applied to any belief system if it worthy of calling itself the TRUTH. THE WORD. There is no such thing, I believe, as the True Religion, there are many paths to the top of the mountain.

I am sure you are right when you say higher forces are involved in producing these changes, "The Key to Theosophy" says that the future state and karmic destiny of man depends on whether Manas (Mind) gravitates more downward to Kama (passions/desires) or upwards to Buddhi (the spiritual)." If we continue to aspire to the good we will be drawn towards Buddhi, through selfish choices are are drawn to Kama. The choice is ours.
Does it really matter if Jesus, wasn't as the Christians, say the Son of God, but a highly evolved man with a compassion and love for his brother souls, who he said about, you are all sons of god.

Thanks for your really very good e-mail and explanations...
Another pollemics:
Donīt you think that all this "noise" about the Da Vinci code and the great amount of books and controversies about the life of Jesus has a common ground and all this subtle "movement" is having an occult impulse?

Suddenly lots of information on occult societies, hidden Jesusī life, allis being spread in every corner , isnīt it a "push' from the Masters?

People are starting to look at Christendom with much suspicion, and the hidden secrets of many mystical orgs will surely find open minded and influentpeople to gradually change this state of things, at least more than in thepast.
Centuries ago a book such as Dan Brownīs would of course go to the fire with the author....
I find very healthy people questioning, more and more often and in all nations, inquiring about God and His misteries.
Bible itself is a book to put fear in people, because fear can control us.
People must learn again to think with freedom.
Fear of hell, fear of damnation... and the more people get to know other gospels that were simply discarded, is very interesting...

Dear Krishtar
I am of irish/english stock. My ex is Portuguese from Lisbon.
The Borg are one of many species featured in Star Trek - Deep Space Nine.
For over 2000 years most religions have pushed a "personal god" to keep thedevotees in fear of punishment. At the core of every great religion is theinner that was brought by the Founder, but most religions have totally lost the inner now, and even claim their God is more powerful than other people's God, attrocities are committed in God's name, as a political and moral justification for murder.
Things are changing though, over half the world's population now holds a philosophy of Karma and Reincarnation and a divine source (non personal) thatwe all share. Things will change quickly, look how far we have come in thelast 200 years.
For most people, it is very scary to let go of the KNOWN (the personal god belief) to grab a hold of THE UNKNOWN (a god within us). And through fear they rattle the tambourine that defends their God and their belief system, labelling anyone outside of it, athiest or worse. Keep the faith and keep searching for answers.

Hi Cass
Are you from Portugal or Brasil?
1.First of all, I apologise for my ignorance of the expression "the borg". What is it?

2. The quote you included I am aware of too, I agree with it, mine was justa comment on how things are nowadays, I know that all that is happening isbut part of the divine plan but a cold reading of it sometimes makes me feel worried about the destiny of mankindīs spirituality in this life time of mine!! Many manvantaras will pass though for Man notice the divine inside as a whole.

Dear Krishtar
We are different from "the Borg" because we have free will.
To quote Theosophy
The whole Cosmos is guided by an endless heirarchy. Every entity lives its life in the sphere of a greater being. Every member of the Heirarchy is linked together. Every being or every entity is part of the Divine Plan.
Our common origin in in Eternal matter - one infinite mind from which all ideas emanate.

Universe is therefore the result of the manifestation or appearance of intelligent and semi intelligent forces. This inner government is fulfilling a divine plan - evolution. (spiritual)
All that occurs is the self realization of the Logos (The Absolute, or SAT)revealing itself stage by stage and all forms of life and consciousness are related to each other in a ladder of evolution. The higher on the evolutionary ladder the more of the Logos is revealed.
And all follow a Divine Plan, the laws of which I can give you if you are interested.

Hi Friend
Though I havenīt read this book which I own in an electronic Spanish version, I have a closely view but not that we are invent-ING, build-ING up a God.
I gess that amost totality of humankind has already DONE it for centuries...
One good example are the visions of God in the Bible through the lips of the ancient psychic whom many call prophets, always antropomorphizing Him.
When one tries to prove by reasoning an explanation of a non-personal God, one is labeled atheist by those who have this antropomorphized view.
The most popular vision of God in the globe is still this way.

I have run across several books that advocate that we, humanity, are in theprocess of "creating God" in some way. Have any of you seen this anywhere?I found it in "The Urantia Book" where it talks about "The Supreme Being" and also in Harold Percival's "Thinking and Destiny." (Both are available free on the net. I can furnish the URLs if necessary) I guess the theory is that as we collectively progress in an evolutionary way, we bind together to create a "super Being" of some sort. Note that this is not the Mormon doctrine where we each become Gods, but an evolutionary idea where we are collectively "God". This sounds almost like "The Borg" of scifi fame. Have any of you heard of this or does anyone else advocate it? I'm fascinated by this concept.
