re teachings/Masters today and in ancient Egypt, South America and elsewhere

According to Inca/Andean legend, the Nazca lines were made by "namesakes of Virachoca" (page 43, FINGER-PRINTS OF THE GODS by Graham Hancock). Apparently Virachoca (translated as "Foam of the Sea") was said to have appeared after much destruction by a deluge. He was described as a white, bearded man in a robe. Page 46: <<They say that this man travelled along the highland route to the north, working marvels as he went and that they never saw him again. They say that in many places he gave men instructions how they should live, speaking to them with great love and kindness and admonishing them to be good and to do no damage or injury one to another, but to love one another and show charity to all.>>

In ancient Egypt a similar teacher was named Osiris, apparently offering similar instructions. And according to the Chaldean scribe, Berosus, another such teacher was Oannes. Page 81: <<In the day-time he used to converse with men; but took no food at that season; and he gave them an insight into letters and sciences, and every kind of art. He taught them to construct houses, to found temples, to compile laws, and explained to them the principles of geometrical knowledge. He made them distinguish the seeds of the earth, and showed them how to collect fruits; in short, he instructed them in every thing which could tend to soften manners and to humanise mankind. From that time, so universal were his instructions, nothing has been added materially by way of improvement ...>>

In short, I'm wondering if there might be a connection between the Nazca lines and modern day crop circles, and if both might be regarded as the works of Masters who might want to alert and remind people that a greater reality exists, a reality that transcends the conventional/orthodox materialistic trends. Seems to me that the persistent, ongoing appearance of numerous, complex crop circles around the world is flying in the face of orthodox/conventional attitudes.

Speculatively,
Mauri
