Hi Barbara,
Its interesting that you've had this experience as well.
My experience was that it started off sounding as if it was above my
head or outside of myself as the sound became more intense I seemed to
merge into the sound and become apart of it rather than it being
separate from me.

Its interesting that this experience and some others happened around a
time of great transition in my life.
The explanation of the "sound" being that of the `ethers' is quite
possible but I don't know for sure.
It certainly was a profound experience for me at any rate.

What are the impressions you have with your experiences ?
