I agree. The only reason I put in my comment is to illuminate the fact that
the Mahatmas and HPB used their discretion in saying what they did to
specific individuals.
Their Letters now made indiscriminately public may raise questions
unanswerable by us, as you say, 100 or so years later.

It was a letter quoted by HPB and it more than a century old. The quote has
been in public domain for quite some years. It may have been private and
confidential when it was written, but now that it is in public domain, can
be used if it helps.
