May I add? There was a bitter controversy over the
number of Principles. The whole series of articles
from TSR and HPB are available in the book form
"Esoteric Writings of TSR" and the latest "Collected
Writings of TSR"
One could also see the extracts in Key to Theosophy
where HPB suggests that in future the four-fold
classification could be advantageously adopted for
study.
