is the only way to deal with some oppressive situations (like seeing

It reminds me of the quote from the Voice of the Silence.

The Bhagavad Gita also comes to mind.
Sometimes we must act quickly and decisively and if our motive is to
protect the innocent and violence is the only means we have to do
that then what else do we do?
But I agree the ideal of Ahimsa is a beautiful one and I would also
like to complement you on your lovely post Erica.
