The Buddha had it right. He who dodges the draft and runs away lives
to dodge the draft another day.
As for Stalin, I always wished I had been born fifty years earlier so
I could walk up to Stalin and burn his moustache off with a cigarette
lighter. You know, one of those things that burns like a flame
thrower. While everyone was laughing at him I would seize control of
the government and require that the Ukrainian language replace
Russian in all the public schools. As for Lysenko, I would have had
him put in Lubyanka prison and then I would have promoted the
agricultural theories of a fertilizer salesman I used to know. With
those reforms and a series of idiots running the US, Russia would
have won the cold war and I would be dictator of the world, heh, heh.
Since it did not happen that way the world is all screwed up.
