It is, IMO is that many a theosophist forget the real importance of self-realization and understanding of its essence and drive dangerously in the harful intellectual challenges of theorical discussions.
You are all using theosophical data stored in records of hystory as a competition to show who has more informed opinions than others and that is disgusting to see people who consider themselves theosophers.
Theosophy for many is still intellectual awareness, and knowing by heart centuries-back incidents bears like haughtiness is a sign of triumph, a personal medal while it is pure intellect and that drives nowhere but vanity and egoism.
