Scientology and psychiatry are just two groups of pathetic quacks
damning each other IMO. Psychiatry is the more powerful of the two
and the one which represents more of a menace to our civilization, so
I begrudgingly appreciate the Scientologists for going after them. I
hope there is an especially comfortable place in hell (not too hot,
not too cold) just for L. Ron Hubbard. The thing i liked about his
book DIANETICS is, it was so badly written it made even his science
fiction drivel look good, and that takes talent.
As for Prozac, people used to take the amino acid L Tryptophan for
depression (the substance used to create serotonin in the brain's
limbic system.) When Prozac became available the FDA banned L
Tryptophan for human consumption (it can still be had for veterinary
purposes) in an effort to support sales of Prozac. When a trade
union (the AMA) which is in bed with a major (pharmaceutical)
industry owns its own federal agency (the FDA) that smell you detect
is not the smell of roses.
People need to throw away their prozac and the rest of their drug
crap and just get a grip. It works for me, sort of. I got a grip
long ago and I must be obsessive compulsive because I can't seem to
let go, let go, let go, let go, ... Anybody know the name of a good
psychiatrist?
