The first public declaration of Krishnamurti as a vehicle of the
World Teacher was made by Annie Besant during a series of three
lectures at the Queen's Hall in London in June and July, 1911,
entitled 'The Coming of the World Teacher'.

Leadbeater's declaration referred to above was made to his assistant
at Adyar at that time (1909), Ernest Wood. He did say to Wood,
privately, that he believed K would be the vehicle for the World
Teacher.
