Dear Daniel,
her successor in Outer Headship of the Esoteric Section - is not in quotes. That means it is not reproduction of words in some other document.

Dear Anand,
Thanks for your reply below.
Concerning your quote which reads:
====================================================
Annie Besant was appointed before Mme. Blavatsky's
passing in 1891 as "Chief Secretary of the Inner
Group of the Esoteric Section and Recorder of the
Teaching", and her successor in Outer Headship of
the Esoteric Section.
====================================================
In my soon to be published book, I reproduce in
facsimile HPB's document appointing Mrs. Besant
as "Chief Secretary of the Inner
Group of the Esoteric Section and Recorder of the
Teaching".
But I am unaware of any document/evidence that shows
that HPB appointed Mrs. Besant as "her successor in
Outer Headship of the Esoteric Section."
In fact, soon after HPB's death, William Judge
and Annie Besant became joint Outer Heads of the E.S.
Your handbook apparently leaves that out.
All of those documents relating to what happened
soon after HPB's death will also be reproduced
in facsimile in my book.
Daniel

Blavatsky of Annie Besant in 1890. Annie Besant was appointed before
Mme. Blavatsky's passing in 1891 as "Chief Secretary of the Inner
Group of the Esoteric Section and Recorder of the Teaching", and her
successor in Outer Headship of the Esoteric Section. Among other
duties she had the custodianship of H.P.B.'s unpublished teachings,
as explained by the President-Founder in 1891 at the European
Convention a few months after H.P.B.'s passing: " H.P.B. has not gone
away and left us absolutely without unpublished remains;on the
contrary she has left a large body of them, and in the custody of her
chosen depository, Mrs. Besant, who in the proper way and at the
proper moment, will give them out to the world."

capacity and character of Annie Besant. When it is so clearly written
it is ridiculous that some people don't respect Annie Besant and her
judgement.

development of C.W. Leadbeater at many places.
