RE: [bn-study] Prophecy

Dear friend Andre:
Now that must have been a wonderful study through many expositions of
THEOSOPHY .
I wonder if you can keep all that information straight? I don't think I
could, and so have read and re-read those and other books many times.
To be specific.
Please help me:
I don't have THEOSOPHIST, VOL. 79, March 1958 (pp. 367-72) available to me
just now. By any chance is it reproduced in the "Collected Works:
BLAVATSKY, 15 Vols." ?
[ see it in Vol 13, p. 301 ]
I have found it:
It is in CW:B Vol. XIII, p. 301... I see it is an unfinished essay and it
is in two handwritings -- also on p. 302 in a footnote, it speaks of a
missing page -- so there is some doubt as to whether it is entirely hers...
So we don't know whether she would have retained the fragmentary version
that is now available to us, if she had ever printed it in her magazines.
For a number of years I have puzzled over the statements made as printed,
and so far have not been able to make any definite reconciliation, such as
you seem to seek. There are two methods of calculation apparent at least.
And I have not specialized in the calculation of cycles and time-periods.
I have asked myself if an application of the cycles of the Chaldeans: Naros,
Saros, Sar had any relevance, did some calculations and arrived nowhere
conclusive.
One reason I gave to myself was that all decisions we make alter our own
INDIVIDUAL and "Personal" cycles of incarnation. Apparently, we as
individuals, work in and through those general cycles.
Also I could not imagine to myself a particular use or value I might secure
from a decision I might make in regard to those cycles of years.
I agree that the differences are there but why? I am unable to help.
I am sorry I am not able to help you further, But I think there are some
possible correlates to the last paragraph of this document, see in S D I
164 and 170 and 200. (see also in Vol XIII, pp. 268, 324-5 -- again the
exoteric and esoteric figures are mentioned in connection with the Zodiac.)
Best wishes,
Dallas
Have a look at the following
A THEOSOPHY CHRONOLOGY [Tentative}
The Work of Adepts
Note
This is an attempt to place events and personages within various
accepted and Theosophical time-frames. It is hoped that it will help in
observing evidence of the Wise Men and Sage Adepts of the past at work.
It will help the compilers if you would contribute any corrections or
additions to this growing project, as a result of your own study and use of
this list.

Most time references are based on the periods that HPB has given us in
either Isis or The S.D., or in her articles. This is under active
completion and verification, hence, you will be asked to excuse some errors
that will be found, and invited to draw the attention of the compilers to
corrective facts.
Verifying dates have occasionally been secured from Encyclopedia
Britannica and other sources, and those have been added to those secured
from Theosophical sources. If uncertain = c / ? .

Dear Dallas,
Thank you for your response. Although i have read the following books since
the last 2 years:

Bhagavad Gita
The Kabbala of Philo of Alexandria

The Key to Theosophy
Occult Stories
Transactions of the Blavatsky Lodge
Fountain-source of Occultism
Occult Glossary
The Esoteric Tradition
The Gods Await
All (compiled) information still is of great help.
If i may, i have another question for you:
H.P.B. states, that the firt races showed up some 300 million years ago.
However, last week i read an article, which was originally published in The
Theosophist Vol. LXXIX, March 1958, pp. 367-372, in which HPB makes
calculations about the Rounds, Planets and Races, with completely different
figures.
It is about Cosmic cycles, Manvantaras and Rounds.
Do you have an explanation with regard to these (big) differences.
Many thanks in advance.
Best regards,
André Kollen
