Notice that Leon says it is highly questionable that this statement
by HPB refers to any mystical or psychic effect.

But if you read the whole paragraph from which I excerpted HPB's
key thought, you see that the whole paragraph refers to PSYCHIC 
EFFECTS.

Here is the whole paragraph:

and be seen at any distance from the physical body, the latter is 
dependent upon ordinary methods of transportation. It may be 
levitated under prescribed magnetic conditions, but not pass from one

stories of the aerial flight of mediums in body, for such would be 
miracle, and miracle we repudiate. Inert matter may be, in certain 
cases and under certain conditions, disintegrated, passed through

EFFECT or feat performed by HPB:
