Bart on his certainty that some of Blavatsky's phenomena were faked

Bart,

You wrote in part:

". . . I am certain that SOME of her [Blavatsky's]
phenomena were faked. I never claimed to prove anything,
and I never claimed that I believed that they were all faked
(although I will not discount the latter, either)."

It would be interesting to know exactly which of HPB's
phenomena you are CERTAIN were FAKED. Furthermore,
it would be interesting to know your specific reasons for
believing that these phenomena were faked. This might
help other readers on this forum to understand your
thinking process on this matter.

Further questions come to mind.

Are you equally convinced that some of HPB's phenomena were
genuine? If you are certain that some were faked, are
you equally certain that some were genuine? If so,
how did you decide which were faked and which were genuine?

But if you are certain some were faked, then what does
this tell us about H.P. Blavatsky? Apparently you believe
that Blavatsky was more than willing to deceive and lie to
her best friends and theosophical coworkers. Or am I missing
something here?

But if you really believe some of her occult phenomena
were faked, then could not some of the appearances of
her Masters ALSO have been faked by HPB?? If so, do you
have any examples?

I thank you for your previous comments on these matters
but (as I also said to Steve Richards) your comments are far too
general and lack any details by which other readers could
ascertain your actual reasoning and thinking on the subject.

In other words, both Steve and you may have good points but
readers have little to go on to determine if the points are
well taken or not since neither one of you have given
specific details, evidence, testimony, etc.

Daniel
