Steve,
I think the deeper and deeper you get into Theosophy, particularly
the works of HPB, it starts to take on a different character.

Theosophy really isn't about "making miracles." Though some knowledge
that can be found in the Secret Doctrine has been known to awaken
Siddhis, this is a matter of individual experience. "making miracles"
is not one of it's three objectives.

Theosophy is not something NEW that was created by HPB. It's all old
knowledge and can be found in all the ancient books. If you are
looking for a NEW TEACHING, then read Bailey. It is easier to accuse
Bailey of plagerizm since she claims to be bringing something NEW.
HPB never made such a claim so if everything can be found somewhere
in the Wisdom Literature it really doesn't discount Theosophy, rather
it proves it.

If they were forged, it atleast brings some interesting DRAMA to the
formation of the Theosophical Society. People like to be entertained.
There is a book called FLATLAND that teaches mathematics through a
story. Some people might be upset with the book and think the whole
idea of higher dimensions is bunk.

The irony is, some of the most idiotic people come out of the
Theosophical Society. But then there are also those brilliant people
who have struggled to know the truth and have come up with
outstanding insights. Reading Theosophists develops a lot of
discrimination (in the positve sense) in the reader.

Very good. You've just one up-ed J. Krishnamurti. Maybe this will
teach us something about reincarnation.
