Nice cop out twist. Why don't you quote the entire letter you answered "first hand" that I quoted (see below) -- instead of taking these lines out of context yourself?
Because you were responding specifically to an out of context quote of mine, where, if it had been given in context, the meaning would have been sufficiently changed as to invalidate your argument.

When I gave the quote, I was stating that I used it when explaining Theosophy to Westerners; in other words, those who already believe in a personal God who created heaven and earth, with a male personal pronoun. Using the idiom of their own religious beliefs to give a basic concept.
