hi

Who suppressed the dravidians ? Well, by the way, sage ramana maharishi was
a brahmin - Aryan. Most of Hinduism, was created and preserved by Aryans
(brahmins), in India.

Raghu Seshadri.

Hi John
>>From tamil most of the dialoges from Sri Ramana Maharishi were transcribed
to Englissh and other languages.
He was probably the most famous Indian sage of the twentieth century. He was
renowned for his saintly life, for the fullness of his self-realization, and
for the feelings of deep peace that visitors experienced in his presence. So
many people came to see him at the holy hill of Arunchala where he spent his
adult life that an ashram had to be built around him. He answered questions
for hours every day, but never considered himself to be anyone's guru.
The expression of his eyes was very alike to HPB´s.Deep and compassionate.

Pedro,
It is interesting about the Telugu, the Tamil and the So. Indian
Dravidians isn't it? Not long ago I was
doing a search on the following:

Tiruvamoli
Samad Nammalvar
Sri Nammalvar
Taniyan
Verses of the Alvars
Lord of Tirumalai
Ventkatachala Mahatmyam
Pradandhams

This had to do with the Orally continued Songs of the Tamil and
Darvidians
who though being
suppressed managed to preserve a lot of their old beliefs in Love Songs
much like the Troubadors of
Provencal. I want to look for the Teluga and Tamil Mystics now.

John
